Almenu Platform (almenu.online) protects the privacy of its users. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and your rights. It applies to subscribing businesses and to visitors and customers who interact with their pages. We process personal data in line with Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and its regulations. The Arabic version is the original.

1. Our roles

Business account data: we are responsible for processing the data of your account as a subscriber. End-customer data: when a visitor submits an order, booking or review, or joins a business's loyalty program, that data belongs to the business, which controls it. Almenu only processes it on the business's behalf and for providing the service. If you are a customer of a business and want to ask about or delete your data, please contact that business; you can also write to us and we will help route your request.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, phone number, business name and city, and your password (stored encrypted).
  • Content: menus, products, images, prices and settings you enter.
  • Orders and bookings: details customers submit to a business through its page.
  • Technical data: device and browser information, IP address and usage statistics.
  • Cookies: essential cookies keep you logged in and make forms work. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) help us understand and improve the platform; you can disable or delete them in your browser settings.

3. How we use data

  • Create accounts and operate business pages, menus, stores and link pages.
  • Deliver orders and bookings from customers to businesses via WhatsApp and the dashboard.
  • Manage subscriptions, verify payments and issue invoices.
  • Send emails such as account verification, password reset, subscription reminders and important updates.
  • Provide support, show analytics to the business, and improve the platform.
  • Prevent fraud and abuse and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use end-customers' data for our own marketing.

4. Sharing

  • The relevant business: order, booking and review data is shared only with the business it was sent to.
  • Service providers: our hosting provider, Google Drive (backups), email providers, payment providers (including Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record for card payments) and analytics services, who may use the data only to serve us.
  • WhatsApp: when an order is sent, WhatsApp opens on the customer's device and the message is sent through it, subject to WhatsApp's privacy policy.
  • Authorities: when legally required, or to protect the rights of the platform and its users.

Some data may be stored or processed on servers outside Saudi Arabia by these providers, under the safeguards required by law.

5. Retention

We keep account data and content while your account is active. When you delete your account, its data is deleted from live systems within a reasonable period, and copies may remain in backups for a limited time before automatic deletion. Businesses control their customers' data and can delete orders or export customer lists from the dashboard. We may keep certain financial or security records for as long as the law requires.

6. Security

  • HTTPS encryption.
  • Passwords stored in encrypted, non-recoverable form.
  • Two-step verification for business accounts.
  • Separation of each business's data and restricted internal access.
  • Regular backups and monitoring of suspicious logins.

No system on the internet can be guaranteed 100% secure. If a breach affects your data, we will act and notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

7. Your rights

Under the PDPL you have the right to be informed, to access your personal data and get a copy, to have it corrected or completed, to request its deletion when the purpose ends, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on it. To exercise your rights, email info@almenu.online.
